What an amazing wedding day! We are so excited to be launching into a new wedding season! It has been a long winter, and even though we like winter, we were ready to see some green! So the green arrived for Laura and Carl. It was an absolutely beautiful day in spite of threats of rain all week. Spending the day with these two was perfection. Laura and Carl met at camp. Laura working the camp nurse station (She’s a PA) came to Carl’s rescue when he had a sick camper. The relationship grew throughout the summer, and they have some pretty awesome memories of that time getting to know each other. We even went back to camp for the engagement photos, and I can definitely see why they love it there. There were sprinkles of “camp” throughout the wedding day like in the minister’s challenge and the guitar music in the ceremony. They even raised some scholarship funds for camp with the help of their wedding guests at the reception. It was a great day, and we are so grateful to have gotten to take part in it!
Shout out to Dreamin’ DJ for lighting and music, Divine Nature for florals, Simply Love Films, Ascension Lutheran, and the Hyatt and KI Center. It was a beautiful wedding day filled with personal touches!
I love details with history. Laura’s grandma’s hankie and her other grandma’s broach in her bouquet.
The best kind of tears are the happy ones. A prayer together before the ceremony. This bridal party definitely brought the fun! Stunning lighting by Greg from Dreamin’ DJ. What a great day!
