Maria and Michael’s Madison Wedding!

mhp_blog_bearson001I’ve been so excited to share this wedding.  Maria and Michael are such a fun couple, and it is always fun for us to get to enjoy some new scenery and explore a less familiar city.   We started at the Edgewater Hotel.  The girls had a gorgeous suite overlooking Lake Mendota.  It felt like you were in the water when you looked out the windows at the beautiful calm blue water.  It was a great place to get ready!  The ceremony was in the tent overlooking the lake in front of the hotel.  Maria is a UW-Madison graduate so of course a visit to the Memorial Union was in order, and the lake was crazy busy with people enjoying the first hot summer weekend.  The reception was at the Union South which was a great time with a fun band from Minoqua, Wisconsin.  Special thanks to Julianne from Glitter and Twine Events for doing such a great job keeping everything running smoothly on the day!  mhp_blog_bearson002Maria was gorgeous! mhp_blog_bearson003mhp_blog_bearson004It is so much easier for the guys to get ready somehow! mhp_blog_bearson005Maria’s mom started blowing bubbles at the girls while they were popping the champagne and hilarious laughing followed.  mhp_blog_bearson006mhp_blog_bearson007mhp_blog_bearson008mhp_blog_bearson009mhp_blog_bearson010Letter exchanges are always my favorite.  mhp_blog_bearson011First look with dad.mhp_blog_bearson012mhp_blog_bearson013First look for Michael! mhp_blog_bearson014mhp_blog_bearson015mhp_blog_bearson016The wedding was beautiful! mhp_blog_bearson017mhp_blog_bearson018mhp_blog_bearson019mhp_blog_bearson020Monona Terrace, the capitol, and the Memorial Union…we enjoyed our tour of Madison in an afternoon.  mhp_blog_bearson021mhp_blog_bearson022Bus shenanigans…mhp_blog_bearson023And a great reception! mhp_blog_bearson024mhp_blog_bearson025mhp_blog_bearson026We finished the wedding but had to get one more shot…the capitol lit up at night.  mhp_blog_bearson027
